Who is D300 for?

This course is for anyone familiar with the concept of educational dialogue, and the value of promoting a dialogic approach for teaching and learning, who wishes to take their interest further by supporting their colleagues to use T-SEDA (the Toolkit for Systematic Educational Dialogue Analysis) to conduct an inquiry into their practice.
Designed for all educational settings and subjects, this course equips teachers, from preschool to higher education, with methodologies, tools and resources to support other practitioners in developing their dialogic approaches.

I was well-versed in dialogic learning and teaching but had been trying to forge my own path in leading oracy across the school and trying to get time-poor colleagues to focus on research within their own classrooms. The course provided me with a clear approach to facilitating departmental oracy leads' dialogic approaches to learning and teaching

I like how each week there was an expectation of what I should post on the forum but also how I felt I was also able to stray 'off-topic' if needed. I enjoyed reading posts from other participants to learn from their experience and hear about their projects.

Initially we did not have an outcome in mind, but the course enabled us to think about how to realise our learning in practice, and this motivation enabled us to craft a project. The project, revising the professional development analysis (PDA) process, has had a very positive impact on our programme.
